The brief.
Landmark Practice Development, a long-established accountancy marketing specialist, wanted to grow its subscription model and increase brand awareness with UK accountancy firms. Founder Bob Edwards turned to Strand to create an email marketing strategy that could deliver measurable growth at pace.
The strategy.
We analysed Landmark’s existing approach, then designed a six-month programme focused on engagement, conversions and retention. Campaigns were structured to drive traffic back to the website, encourage sign-ups and keep prospects moving towards subscription. Clearer calls to action, stronger links to the website and a hot-lead follow-up system ensured that interest translated into conversions. As the relationship developed, our remit grew. We began drafting regular content for Landmark’s subscription members, highlighting timely and relevant news to help accountants better serve their clients. This additional layer of support kept the subscription offer fresh, useful and commercially valuable.
The point.
Within the first six weeks of commission, Landmark’s subscriber base had grown by 60 per cent, putting the business on track to hit annual targets months ahead of schedule. Achieving this growth in the shadow of Brexit and Covid disruption made the results even more significant. The campaigns gave Landmark a scalable platform for future growth, boosted engagement with existing subscribers and relieved pressure on its founder by providing consistent, professional marketing support.
