When businesswoman Sharon Cousans was preparing to open Chimney Formal Menswear, in Bassingbourn, Cambs, she knew fashion inside out, but little about marketing. She wanted a brand and online presence that would get customers through the door and establish the shop as the destination for weddings and events.

We started from the ground up. A new logo and brochure gave the business a clear identity, while a structured social media plan and paid advertising built awareness fast. We advised on the right platforms, created content to showcase the range and set up Google Ads to capture local demand. As the business grew, we added new layers of support – from award-entry writing to ongoing design – ensuring Chimney’s profile kept pace with its ambition. Most recently, we supported the brand’s 10th anniversary with fresh creative, including new branding and taglines to mark the milestone and celebrate a decade of success.

In under four years, Chimney’s revenue was up 47 per cent, bookings increased by 25 per cent and new enquiries grew by 33 per cent. Award wins added further credibility, including a national award for menswear excellence and a host of local awards. Ten years later, we’re still working with Sharon, helping Chimney maintain its reputation as the go-to name for quality formalwear and weddings.
