The brief.
Wodson Park, a major community sports and leisure centre in Hertfordshire, wanted to refresh its brand and online presence to better reflect its role as a hub for sport, fitness and wellbeing. The goal was to attract more visitors, strengthen its community profile and ensure its communications kept pace with the wide variety of activities on offer. As a charity, it also wanted to highlight the importance of community support.

The strategy.
We developed a new brand identity for Wodson Park, including a logo refresh and a full website revamp to improve usability and showcase facilities. To keep the brand consistent, we delivered a suite of design work, from class posters to digital slideshows for the centre’s TV screens. We also supported the launch of the Friends of Wodson Park campaign, creating donation forms, presentations for the board and getting the ‘Friends’ page live. To raise visibility, we supported sponsorship opportunities such as a local net-walking event. On social media, we set up Wodson Park’s Instagram account to sit alongside its other platforms, introduced a structured content plan and began experimenting with formats to improve engagement. We continue to manage their social channels each month, ensuring content is fresh, professional and aligned with the brand’s community ethos.
The point.
The rebrand and website has given Wodson Park a stronger platform to promote its services, while ongoing design work ensures a consistent, modern look across all touchpoints. Social media has grown steadily – data shows increases in reach (up 27 per cent), page views (up 45 per cent), post impressions (up 18 per cent), engagement (up 32 per cent), reactions (up 43 per cent) and followers (up 12 per cent). Campaigns like Friends of Wodson Park have created new opportunities for donations and sponsorship, while regular monthly support keeps communications sharp and effective. Today, Wodson Park has a joined-up, professional marketing approach that supports its long-term role as a trusted community hub.
